PROCESSES

TDV is a vertically integrated garment manufacturing company, established in Peru in 1987.

We produce a wide range of products, from the most basic styles to high fashion styles, with innovative fabrics, different kinds of blends, special finishing, and special washes.

All with the most sustainable standards.

VERTICAL FACTORY.

Our production flow allows us to control all stages of the value chain.

    RAW MATERIAL

    Our production process uses sustainable raw materials such as natural fibers: Tencel and Modal; varieties of cotton like pima, organic BCI and recycled (including our own textile waste); Synthetics such as polyester, recycled polyester (REPREVE) and nylon.

    YARN DYEING

    Our dyeing process only uses biodegradable materials that aren’t harmful for the environment.

    KNITTING

    We count with the latest technology in knitting machines with great efficiency and productivity standards. Flexibility is characteristic in our developments, we can make varieties of circular knitting such us jersey, pique, ribs, interlock, solid and engineering stripes; also, in flat knitting: basic, intarsias, jacquard and double-sided.

    DYEING

    Our dyeing process constantly aims to be more sustainable. We look for the best supplies like sustainable colorants that allow a reduction of 32% in the water used in the process. Also, we reprocess and recycle 50% of the water used in the dyeing process with our own inverse osmosis plant.

    FABRIC PRINTING

    In the last years we have invested in a more sustainable fabric printing process. Today we count with a digital printer for our sublimation process on polyester and another for our digital reactive printing on cotton or cellulosic fibers (direct printing on fabric).

    CUT

    Our cutting facility has a Morgan automatic cutter and Morgan Spreading machines, this allow us to reduce fabric waste to the minimum.

    EMBROIDERY & TRANSFER

    GARMENT PRINTING

    Our process also counts with digital printing on garment, which allows us to save 70% of water usage per unit. We also count with serigraphic printing machines, where we work with PVC-free water-based dyes.

    SEWING

    The sewing facility has 2,100 sewing machines from different brands such as Rimoldi, Brother, Juki and Kansai, to perform bartack, blind stitch, button attacher, single needle lockstitch, double needle lockstitch, flatseammer, elastic lace attaching, button hole, coverstitch, collar setting and hem, among others. We also have included bonding machines for sports wear production.

    LAUNDRY

    TDV has the latest technology in washing machines to develop garment finishing with the lowest use of water and environmental impact in the industry. For dyeing we use nitrogen and ecological colorants (“Earth Colors”) composed of organic waste.

    We also use micro spraying technology for our garment dyeing process saving 80% of water and 50% of chemicals.

    GARMENT FINISHING

    Our finishing area has14 steaming stations with Monti and Veith equipment.
